Venue: Izumi 21 Small Hall, Sendai City, Miyagi Prefecture, Japan

Ticket Price: ¥3,000

Number of Seats: Limited to 193 seats

Remote Live Streaming: Available for a fee


Broadcast at the event and simultaneously streamed online in the US and Spain.








Performers




Soprano

Asako Tamura

A soprano praised by The New York Times for her "radiant voice." Tamura has been active since her move to the United States in 1999, performing leading roles in numerous opera houses across Europe and America. She is known not only for her mastery of opera arias but also for her exceptional renditions of Ave Maria by various renowned composers.



Baritone

Nobuki Momma

A rising baritone singer based in New York, recognized as one of the most promising young talents in the city's music scene. He has been actively performing and gaining attention for his vocal prowess.



Jazz Pianist

Eri Chichibu

A composer and pianist originally from Sendai, now residing in Boston. Chichibu attended Tohoku University after graduating from Sendai Niki High School and later became the first Japanese musician to win three awards in the prestigious jazz division at Berklee College of Music.



Ensemble

Circle Wind Chamber Ensemble

A chamber ensemble led by violinist Sho Omagari, based in New York. They have been active in performing at the Circle Wind Concerts for the past few years.



Choir

Alumni of the Tohoku University Men's Choir

 Former members of the Tohoku University Men's Choir who participated in the "Michinoku Reconstruction Charity Concert" held at Carnegie Hall nine years ago after the Great East Japan Earthquake.

Japan Choral Harmony (JCH) "TOMO"

A mixed choir group based in New York, as mentioned in the press release. They will be participating remotely via video in the concert.



MC

Etsuko Miyazaki

Miyazaki has been active as a freelance professional, serving as a host for government programs, planning and producing music shows, and conducting research and editing for information programs. She also leads a bread-making circle called “Oven Mitten.”
