Impact
The generous donation of 250,000 Japanese Yen, collected during the 11th Circle Wind Concert, was personally delivered to Ms. Shimura, President of the Kokoro Smile Project, situated in the Hebita district of Ishinomaki, Miyagi, on October 16, 2018. This amount, equivalent to $1,154, primarily comprises contributions from the attentive audience of the 9.12 concert, supplemented by additional funds matched by the NPO Circle Wind Memorial Concert. Shirota visited Kokoro Smile on October 16th in Ishinomaki and directly delivered 250,000 Japanese Yen to Ms. Shimura to support their grief-care activities for children and mothers who lost their families. The donation, primarily raised during the 11th Circle Wind Concert, symbolizes a heartfelt commitment to the healing journey of those affected by the tragedies.
