Event Overview

On April 3, 2019, the Hasekura Cup took place in Coria del Río, Spain, celebrating friendship between Japan and Spain through football.

Teams: Cobaltore Onagawa U15 (Japan), CF Coria U15 (Spain), Real Betis U15(Spain)

Highlights

The ceremony opened with Japan’s National Anthem by the Circle Wind Circle Wind Boys & Girls Choir from New York.
Local fans filled the stands, joined by guests Pepe Japón and national goalkeeper Erina Yamane.

The 2nd Hasekura Cup was planned for 2022 but unfortunately could not take place. Preparations for the next edition are ongoing.
