The Circle Wind Concert celebrate its 9th annual concert

Performers
Nobushi Taiko
A leading Japanese drum (Wadaiko) group from Fukuoka, Japan. Known for their powerful and dynamic performances, Nobushi Taiko will showcase the traditional art of Taiko drumming.
Junior Taiko Team "Hitoyoshi Nebuka"
Hailing from Kumamoto, Japan, this junior Taiko team brings heartfelt wishes for the recovery of areas affected by earthquakes in April. Their performance resonates with hope and resilience.
Ayako Shirasaki Jazz Trio
Acclaimed jazz musicians based in the New York area, offering a captivating blend of traditional and contemporary jazz melodies.
The Bear Necessities
An all-male a cappella group from Brown University, extending their support for the recovery efforts in Kumamoto through their harmonious vocals.
Circle Wind Boys & Girls Choi
Comprising over 50 Japanese-speaking elementary and middle school students from the New York area, this newly formed choir aims to preserve and share Japan's musical heritage. They will make their debut performance at the concert.

Japan Choral Harmony (JCH)
Serving as hosts for the concert since 2011, TOMO presents spiritual songs that harmonize with the beats of Nobushi's Taiko, creating a unique and uplifting musical experience.
Special Guest
Kyoko Gasha
Renowned anchor, senior producer at Reuters, and esteemed documentary film director, Kyoko Gasha, will serve as our Master of Ceremonies.
