Memorial Concert Press Conference Unites Japanese, American, and Chinese Media Outlets
On December 2nd, a press conference was held with the participation of a total of 12 media outlets, including New York Daily News, NY Daily Sun, China Press, among others, representing Japanese, American, and Chinese communities. The event aimed to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the end of World War II with a joint concert between the Manhattan Symphony Orchestra and the Japan Choral Harmony "TOMO" on Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day. Music directors from both ensembles elaborated on the significance of the collaborative concert. Articles from the Chinese newspapers, "China Press" and "Sing Tao Newspaper," were also featured during the conference.
